Flash floods in Nebraska kill 23

About it-
In Nebraska on the 8th of may 1950, a flood was caused by 14 inches of rain,
this terrible incident killed 23 living souls.  

Nearly all the people that were killed were trapped in their vehicles,

this lead to them drowning.

The flash flood came from a series of floods that was to hit the area.  






So what?
This accident is important to know because a lot of lives were lost that day, it is also important
because on the West Coast we get alot of rain so this could happen to us.
This tragic event could happen to anyone it is important to know this so then we can learn about how to
prevent and how to keep safe if this ever happens.
