Programming Concepts

As a year 7 student from Lake Brunner School, we are exploring programming concepts and we are focusing on our friend, the 'four' loop. This means that we don't have to write the same code over and over again, we can be more efficient. We tried the maze challenge and we changed the colours to personalize it to our liking. We then replace the 24 lines of code with just 8 lines by putting in this very important code.

Weekend journal!

On Saturday Sapphire came for the night so we had a movie night. Mum, and I took her home on Sunday, so we went to Holly's place for hours. we walked to the shop to get some lunch. Tyson also learnt to crawl. After we went to Holly's Mum and I went to the warehouse to buy Sapphire's birthday presents. Then we look at the long boards, and skate boards for Rose-elle and me. Then I rode around the warehouse on a mini long board.

On Saturday I went to stay at Catrin's house so Catrin her Mum and her Dad picked me up to go to Catrin's netball game. Catrin's team lost 10-14. After the game we went and got some lunch. When we got home we had to go to Catrin's new house to clean up. Catrin and I walked back to her house and watched a movie. We watched a movie for home links so we watched Ice Age 5 collision course. Then on Sunday we watched Alice through the looking glass. After I went home.

The unknown photograph

In this unnamed photograph there is a calm, lazy ocean breeze, with a section of a trunk showing its age with dry and deserted colours. The appealing, lavender sky transforms into a darker shade. I wish I could know the name of the photographer so I can see other photographs from him/her.
The unknown photographer has left a delightful ocean photo with islands in the background.

I am intrigued by the different colours throughout the whole photograph. The colours in the sky is a mix with light and dark lavender, it makes me think there is a light breeze. Since this photograph is a beach setting the colours are mostly blue, white, and purple, but in this photo on the islands you can see the green.

I like how this photographer has taken the photo at the right time. this photo was taken at the right time because, I see that the ocean wave is about to crash onto the shore so you can see the white foam form on the wave. Also this was taken at the right time because of the lighting, I think that this photo was taken mid day where the tide looks like it's going out.

This beach looks like it has been well taken cared of. The sand is bare with no rubbish to be seen. Unlike other beaches people can walk along with bare feet without being concerned about stepping on sharp rubbish. When I look at it I see no rubbish which makes me want to change and start to take care of the environment.

I think overall that this photo is well taken photo and the colours are magnificent. This photo makes me feel relaxed and calm. I recommend for you to look after you beach/lake and not litter.

On Saturday Mum took Thomas, Rose-elle, and I to do shopping. Before we went home we got some lunch to eat on the way home. That night Dad took Thomas, Rose-elle and I out to the movies, we watch pirates of the Caribbean dead men tell no tale (5th). The movie was really cool but someone feel asleep then their snoring interrupted the movie. After the movie we went to go home but the car wouldn't start so we walked to the warehouse to buy a new battery. On Sunday Thomas and Dad went to feed the animals and Thomas found a $50 note in the ditch so Thomas gave the note to Dad because he had to buy a new battery. Dad and Thomas went to pick up Elizabeth so Rose-elle and I cleaned up the house. When Dad got home Thomas had some new armies for his set from the $50 note. Dad also got a jacket for Jasmine our dog, and a bathroom mirror.
