Summer learning journey (bonus)
I would like to be in a Waka Ama race one day because it would be something different and challenging. I would also like to be in a Waka Ama race because I am apart of Sea Scouts so I do a lot on the water, so I have raced on the water before and even if we lost I still loved it. It would be a great experience and great fun even if I lose or win.
Hi Emily, I think you would do great in a waka ama race, its also kind of an advantage because you do sea scouts. What would you do if you or your team won? Bye

ReplyDeleteWelcome to the Summer Learning Journey. My name is Allie and I will be blogging with you over the summer. I enjoyed reading you post about being in a Waka Ama race.
It would certainly be an exciting experience to be a part of. You would have to work really well as a team. And I think the team with the best team work would end up winning. You would have to have great timing when you were paddling too.
Imagine just how fit you would have to be. You would have to have good strength in you arms.
You are obviously used to doing things on the lake and being in the sea scouts would be a great advantage.
Would you like to sit at the end or in the middle of the boat? Do you think it would make a difference where you sit?

Hi Allie, I would sit in the middle because you have to be a strong rower and I think I am, also at sea scouts I usually sit it the middle.
