The smokey, misty air fulling the the back mysterious room. Nothing but blackness is to be seen, mice and rats scurry across the lino floor. The sound of laughter, music and beer bottles smashing to the ground. You run your hand along the cold walls to find the light, blinding light fills the empty space. Everything you touch is frozen solid, there is ice hanging from the shelf's of beer. You take deep breaths as you breathe in through your nose you smell something rotten, you lift your foot up to find dead rats.
LO: We were asked to write a piece of writing that explained a setting, my setting was in the back room of a pub, we only got 5 minutes to do this.
Hi Emily, cool story I like how you used lots of adjectives. Even though you did it so well even a last check of words can be good to change it up. I am sure your writing will get better and better.
