For my reading this week I did a freeze frame from the novel Refugee. I did this with Jakob as the gunmen, Bridget as Ruthy, Kahi as Josef, Me as Josef's mother and Mary as photographer. We did 3 different scenes from Josef's story we did the one where the mother is dropping the money, the one where the mother is passing the earrings to the German solider, and the one where the German has Ruthy and Josef and making the mother choose who will be free and who will go to a concentration camp.
